Company Introduction

Chelken Contracting Services was established in 2014 in both South Africa and Zambia for strategic reasons. South Africa is Africa’s most established country and as such can be drawn from in terms of manufacturing and resources. Zambia on the other hand is well positioned within the Copper Belt and is in the heart of Central Africa making our Zambian operation the gateway into Central Africa.

Chelken Contracting Services is the construction company that provides the full spectrum of the fabrication and installation of structural, mechanical and piping components. Through our professional Engineers and Project managers we are able to provide full turnkey solutions whereby we manage, on behalf of the client, all contracted disciplines required to complete projects including Civil, Electrical and Instrumentation.

Our target Markets are the mining, mineral processing, furnace, smelting, water distribution, general processing and power generation sectors.

Experienced and Professional Engineers and Project Managers ensure our ability to provide full Turnkey Solutions.

Our complement includes Project Managers, Engineers, Site Management and skilled artisans. We are aligned with design houses and drawing offices which enables us to offer turnkey solutions to our clients.

Business Operations

The main areas of operation are the provision of full multi-disciplined engineering and contracting operations (structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, piping and erection) to the industrial sector.

Our core team has handled or participated in many major projects on the sub-continent and frequently worked in partnership with international concerns, usually through the formation of associate companies. This has led to close ties with various organisations which will in future enable us to undertake a variety of large and specialised projects.
